	We at the THLN are working to stop animal cruelty and abuse before it starts. We seek to educate the public on animal cruelty and abuse and to promote animal welfare legislation. THLN conducts grassroots lobbying for the passage of animal welfare legislation in Texas and to defeat legislation that would negatively effect animal welfare.
