What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Daily Citizen was formed to strengthen our democracy by engaging in a variety of educational activities.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Daily Citizen, Inc's Single Payer Action project raised the profile of single payer health-care for all national health insurance reform. We did this through an active website with daily original postings and links to relevant articles by organizing citizens to confront their elected representatives and demand answers on health-care reform, by appearing on national and local media outlets, and by providing books and other relevant information concerning democracy, citizenship and health care to citizen activists. Through these activities, we helped educate tens of thousand of Americans on the issues of health care reform and democracy.
