Pt VI, Line 6	The membership in the American Legion is open to all current miliary service members and former service members (veterans) who were honorably separated from the service; and, who served during specific dates which are established by the United States Congress.
Pt VI, Line 10b	Severna Park Post 175 operated under bylaws promulgated by the American Legion national headquarters. The Post has two affiliates: (1) the Sons of the American Legion who operate under the same bylaws as does the Post; and (2) the Ladies Auxilary, they are independent of the Post, have their own bylaws and file their own Form 990EZ.
