	Streets for Everyone. This campaign works to connect neighborhoods with great biking, walking and transit options. We specifically promoted substantial increases in funding for whole bikeway networks safe and connected webs of inviting bike paths, quiet neighborhood streets, and protected bike lanes and intersections so that everyone, ages 8 to 80, can feel comfortable riding.We also worked to strengthen Complete Streets policies at the state level to make sure that streets serve everyone, not just people in cars. Our complete streets campaign will make safety a top consideration in road projects, displacing fast and unimpeded car traffic as the top priority.We also effectively improved the rules about street design. We got the states Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan to call for the development of a new bike and pedestrian design manual so that California once again leads the nation in street design.

	Transportation Justice and Movement-Building. We work to strengthen the power of advocates for bicycling, sustainable transportation and their many interrelated movements by advancing and supporting our local bicycle advocacy and social justice partners and bridging them to state policy change. We elect champions to office and facilitate powerful education and encouragement programs.Absolutely central to our work is the coordination and strengthening of our network of local and regional organizations, including the impressive cohort of youth leaders who gather biannually at the California Bicycle Summit. We deliver resources to these groups through our events and workshops and through revenue generated by the bicycle-themed DMV license plate we are working to develop.

	Healthy Climate and Communities. We elevate bicycling, and other forms of clean transportation, as an important tool for protecting our planet and our communities, working to change our transportation policies to support an equitable, environmentally sustainable, and safe future.We don't advocate for bicycling in isolation. We advocate for healthy and equitable communities where bicycling is central to mobility and accessible to everyone and therefore dependent upon a series of interconnected issues from affordable and fair housing to public transit and economy and climate and environmental justice.In this fiscal year we promoted access to bikes by increasing the use of e-bikes through government support of their use, and by improving government support of shared bikes, including shared e-bikes. We developed a best practices guide for dockless shared mobility.

Related party costs:

In accordance with the grant agreement between the California Bicycle Coalition and the California Bicycle Coalition Education Fund the California Bicycle Coalition Education Fund made grants totaling $670,000 to the California Bicycle Coalition during the fiscal year. In exchange, the California Bicycle Coalition provided the California Bicycle Coalition Education Fund with the services of its Executive Director and the use of its facilities.
