The agreement provides that funds received by CT&T be expended for the purposes of promoting tourism, conventions, trade shows, and other similar activities in Cobb County. The agreement is in effect through September 30, 2021. Under terms of the agreement with the Authority, CT&T received $1,347,480 and $1,249,464 for the years ended September 30, 2018 and 2017, respectively. This agreement provides that the Authority pay to CT&T monthly, in advance, an amount equal to eight percent of the gross amount payable to CT&T pursuant to the prior year's hotel-motel tax collected by the Authority. |
