	Buckeye Girls State is a one-week mock Ohio government program for girls who have completed their junior year of high school. The program, held each summer on a college campus in Ohio, teaches the participants about the privileges, rights and responsibilities of good citizenship.

	VA and R activities consist of volunteering at VA hospitals throughout and year-round support to veterans, active members of the military and their families. These activities also help future members by offering scholarship to nursing candidates.

	Buckeye Messenger is a quarterly newsletter that is produced by the Department of Ohio and sent to all Units and their members to keep them updated as to events and happenings at the Auxiliary. In addition, the Department regularly produces mailers and other notices that it sends to members by mail as well as electronically.

Monitoring procedures (Part I, line 2)	Scholarships are awarded to those who want to prepare for careers in nursing or other professional fields. Scholarship candidates must fill out an application and be interviewed by Auxiliary committee members. Once an award is accepted, scholarship recipients are asked to maintain contact with the Department of Ohio and inform the Auxiliary of their progress.

Members or stockholder classes and rights Part VI line 6	All members of the Auxiliary belong to an individual chapter, known as an Auxiliary Unit. Any member in good standing with the Unit and the Department of Ohio has full rights and privileges to vote.
Member election for additional members Part VI line 7a	Members run for statewide office annually and are voted upon by delegates attending the Auxiliarys Department Convention. Once a member is voted as the 2nd Vice President, the member begins a 3-year term as an officer, concluding with a 1-year term as President.
Governing body decisions Part VI line 7b	Most policy decisions are voted upon by the Department Executive Committee after being approved by the various Auxiliary Committees. Each summer at the Auxiliarys Department Convention, significant policy matters are voted upon by all delegates in attendance.
Governing body meeting documentation Part VI line 8a	All minutes of the Department Executive Committee are transcribed by the Department Secretary-Treasurer, and printed for DEC members to review and approve at the subsequent meeting.

All Auxiliary Units are part of the National Auxiliarys group exemption.
