Request for Reasonable Cause for late filing 2018 Form 990I have successfully applied for an automatic extension using Form 8868 every year for the last four years. However, this year after filling out Form 8868, I accidentally did not mail it. We became a monthly depositor for Form 941 this past year and the day that Form 8868 should have been mailed, I was focused on calculating the correct withholding for the prior month and paying our tax deposit for Form 941. Due to the fact I had previously filled out Form 8868, I confused the two forms and assumed I had already mailed Form 8868 when, in fact, I had not. Sincerely, Marlon Welch, Treasurer
