    1 RSMJC is a public interest litigation group that fights for human rights and social justice. Staff attorneys provide free legal representation to indigent defendants facing execution or lengthy incarceration, and in cases involving constitutional or significant issues in the field of criminal justice. The center is based at Northwestern University Law, where students can obtain litigation experience and academic credit by working on cases with Center attorneys. Our New Orleans office works to affect civil liberties and human rights through litigation to reform the criminal justice system. Our Ole Miss Law office seeks to bring about meaningful and positive change in Mississippi through litigation addressing systemic weaknesses in the state's criminal justice and legal systems. In 2016 the Center opened a St. Louis office to fight against injustice with focus on racial bias in policing, juvenile justice, prison reform, right to counsel, court reform, sentencing, and parole practices. 5,679,069
