IN FY19, UNITED ARTS RAISED OVER 6.7 MILLION IN SUPPORT OF ARTS AND CULTURE FROM ALL SOURCES; 2.3 MILLION WAS DESIGNATED DIRECTLY TO REGIONAL ARTS, SCIENCE AND HISTORY ORGANIZATIONS. IN FY19, UNITED ARTS AWARDED 39,300 IN MINI GRANT FUNDING TO 27 NONPROFIT ARTS AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS. 3) DIVERSITY GRANTS - FUNDED THROUGH A GRANT FROM DUKE ENERGY, THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES GRANTS FOR ARTS AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMING THAT WILL APPEAL TO A WIDE RANGE OF AUDIENCES AND IS REFLECTIVE OF THE RACIALLY/ETHNICALLY DIVERSE COMMUNITIES WITHIN THE UNITED ARTS SERVICE AREA. IN FY19, UNITED ARTS PROVIDED 34,000 IN FUNDING TO 8 ORGANIZATIONS. THIS GRANT ALSO PROVIDED UNDERWRITING FOR DIVERSE STUDENTS TO EXPLORE CAREERS IN ARTS ADMINISTRATION THROUGH PAID INTERNSHIPS AT AREA ARTS ORGANIZATIONS. COMBINED WITH OTHER CAPACITY BUILDING AND INCENTIVE GRANT PROGRAMS, UNITED ARTS AWARDED OVER 1.8 MILLION IN GRANT FUNDING IN FY19. COMBINED WITH CONTRACT SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES, DESIGNATED GIVING AND MATCHING FUNDS, UNITED ARTS INVESTED OVER 5.1 MILLION INTO THE ARTS AND CULTURAL COMMUNITY IN FY19. LINE 4C - THIRD ACCOMPLISHMENT CON'T MUSEUMS OF ART, HISTORY AND SCIENCE. IN FY19, 62 DIVERSE CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS - ALL OF THEM FUNDED BY UNITED ARTS - PROVIDED 1,037,879 CURRICULUM-BASED ARTS EDUCATION EXPERIENCES FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES K-12. UNITED ARTS' LARGEST EDUCATION CONTRACT IS WITH ORANGE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS (OCPS) TO PROVIDE CURRICULUM-BASED ARTS EDUCATION SERVICES FOR OCPS STUDENTS IN GRADES K-12 (CONTRACT AMOUNT - 501,058). IN FY19, THIS CONTRACT FACILITATED 102,645 K-12 CURRICULUM-BASED ARTS EDUCATION EXPERIENCES. UNITED ARTS ACTIVELY SEEKS GRANT OPPORTUNITIES TO INCREASE THE BREADTH OF ARTS EDUCATION EXPERIENCES EACH STUDENT WILL HAVE AND THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS THAT ARE SERVED EACH YEAR. FOR FY19, UNITED ARTS RECEIVED 155,000 IN GRANTS SPECIFICALLY FOR ARTS EDUCATION EXPERIENCES THROUGHOUT LAKE, ORANGE, OSCEOLA AND SEMINOLE COUNTIES, RESULTING IN AN ADDITIONAL 30,614 ARTS EDUCATION EXPERIENCES THESE STUDENTS WOULD NOT OTHERWISE HAVE HAD ACCESS TO. IN FY19, UNITED ARTS SAW THE COMPLETION OF ITS SECOND CAREER PATHWAYS TO THE ARTS BACK-OF-HOUSE CREATIVE SKILLS CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM WITH THE OPENING OF TOHOPEKALIGA HIGH SCHOOL (TOHO) IN AUGUST OF 2019. FUNDED THROUGH A GRANT FROM THE JP MORGAN CHASE FOUNDATION, AND IN COLLABORATION WITH VALENCIA COLLEGE AND THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF OSCEOLA COUNTY, FUNDING ALLOWED THE PLANNED STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATHEMATICS) HIGH SCHOOL TO ADD ARTS TO THE CURRICULUM, MAKING IT A STEAM SCHOOL. 611 STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR THE CAREER PATHWAYS FOR THE ARTS PROGRAM THE FIRST YEAR WITH OPTIONS TO LEARN SKILLS IN DIGITAL AUDIO, DIGITAL VIDEO, ENTERTAINMENT DESIGN AND GRAPHIC DESIGN. STUDENTS CAN EARN CERTIFICATIONS IN DIFFERENT SKILLSETS AS THEY GO. 84 PERCENT OF STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM SAID THEY PLAN TO CONTINUE THEIR TRAINING AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL AFTER GRADUATION. THE PILOT CAREER PATHWAYS TO THE ARTS PROGRAM WAS AT EVANS HIGH SCHOOL IN ORLANDO (OCPS). EVANS IS NOW AN ARTS MAGNET SCHOOL. |

THE SITE PROVIDES INFORMATION ON ARTS, SCIENCE AND HISTORY AS WELL AS DINING, NATURE ACTIVITIES, FARMERS MARKETS AND PUBLIC ART. THE SITE SERVES RESIDENTS AND VISITORS ALIKE AS A COMPREHENSIVE SITE TO GO TO WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO AND PROVIDES THE ARTS COMMUNITY WITH A CENTRAL LOCATION TO POST INFORMATION TO SHARE LOCALLY AND NATIONALLY. IN FY19, OVER 800 ORGANIZATIONS POSTED 3,900+ EVENTS ON THE SITE; THERE ARE 200+ PIECES OF PUBLIC ART AND 141 RESTAURANTS LISTED. IN ADDITION, SITE VISITORS CAN SUBSCRIBE TO A WEEKLY E-NEWSLETTER (8,600 SUBSCRIBERS) THAT DELIVERS INFORMATION ON UPCOMING EVENTS AND FREE AND DISCOUNTED EVENTS TO THEIR INBOX EACH WEEK.
