Form 990, Part III, line 2	In 2018, the Organization acquired The Workshop which is operated in the building now owned by the Organization. It was recognized that leasing office space is a big step towards establishing a new business. The goal of The Workshop is to serve as a business incubation space and bring business professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, freelancers, and university students to downtown Aberdeen in one unique location. Membership in The Workshop includes access to a variety of work areas, high speed Wi-Fi, printing and basic office supplies, 24/7 access, and meeting rooms.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7b	New board member appointments to the BID board are approved by the Mayor of the City of Aberdeen and the City Council. There is no approval needed for members of the Aberdeen Downtown Association board of directors.
