Pt VIII	The Fire Department distributes flyers requesting donations from the surrounding neighborhoods. As a result, they receive numerous donations from the public. Also, when a customer is well pleased with the service performed by the department, sometimes they will donate money to show their thanks. In 2018, these contributions totaled $3,318; however, there was no one donor who donated more than $5,000. Most of the donations averaged $25 or $50.
