	Held special events for the financial planning industry and members to learn about financial planning issues and to network together, including a focus on next generation planners and students interested in the financial planning industry. Also, annually hold two public awareness events in which members volunteer to provide financial education to the public. We partner with the Federal Reserve of Chicago for a program entitled Money Smart Week. The other event is a Financial Planning Week every October.

	Held one meeting covering informational topics that members need to keep current on and use in providing financial planning services to the public. Members earn educational credits as required by the CFP board of standards and IL Insurance. Some programs also earn credit with the Certified Financial Analyst Board and the CPA. The Spring Forum - a total of 7 CFP, 7 IL Insurance CE and 7 IMCA (CIMA) CE were available. The Fall Forum was not held this year as FPA national conference was in Chicago.
