1	The foundation is responsible for the selection process, distribution, and tracking of various scholarship programs to include the following; BP Principals and Commissioners Scholarship. 20 student scholarships were awarded in 2018. Recipients are nominated by their Alaska state high school principal. Recipients are selected from the seven AASSP school district regions. Each winner receives a one-time $5,000.00 scholarship, paid in full. One BP Principals recipient is selected to receive the Commissioners Scholarship. This recipient receives a one-time $10,000.00 scholarship, paid in full. Awards are made directly to the university attended by the recipient.	119,000

Application process is dependent on the scholarship requirements. BP Principals' and Commissioner's scholarship announcements and applications are sent to all high school principals in the State of Alaska each January. Applicants should contact their high school principal. BP Process Technology Program scholarship announcements and applications are sent out in January of each year and due in April. Applicants should contact University of Alaska Process Technology Program. Aspiring Principal scholarship is available to all students enrolled in a university education leadership program.
