IN 2018, THE FOUNDATION AWARDED NEARLY $9 MILLION IN MORE THAN 2,100 GRANTS, THE MAJORITY OF WHICH WERE DIRECTED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITHIN THE FOUR-COUNTY SACRAMENTO REGION ACROSS A BREADTH OF IMPACT AREAS. OF THAT AMOUNT, OVER $1 MILLION WAS DIRECTED TO SCHOLARSHIPS. BY PAIRING STRATEGIC, NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS WITH COLLEGE-READINESS SERVICES THAT PROMOTE COLLEGE ATTAINMENT AND COMPLETION, THE FOUNDATION AND ITS PARTNERS AIM TO HELP MORE YOUNG PEOPLE OVERCOME BARRIERS TO SUCCESS AND ACHIEVE THEIR COLLEGE GOALS.
