What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Adult Foster Homecare Association of Hawaii (AFHA) is an association ofAdult Foster Homecare caregivers that promotes close relationships amongmembers, clients, families and communities by providing socialgatherings and activities. AFHA also offers opportunities for members toobtain education and business skills to operate in a safe manner.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 AFHA coordinated 2 social events during 2018 that benefited homecareproviders as well as their patients. The summer social event hadapproximately 150 people in attendance while the holiday event had 440people in attendance. These events allow patients the opportunity forsocial gatherings they might not normally receive as well as bring togetherdifferent members of the homecare community.
