	The Organization is a joint effort between General Motors Company (GM) and the United Automobile Workers International Union (UAW). The Organization develops, delivers and administers training, retraining, education, job development, placement, tuition assistance, healthcare programs, and other programs and activities that are jointly agreed to by GM and the UAW. FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINES 11A &11B	The Co-Directors of the UAW-GM Center for Human Resources reviewed Form 990 details with the Controller before filing with the IRS. The Board of Trustees, at a regularly scheduled meeting prior to the filing date, were provided with the full Form 990 (including all schedules and attachments), and were briefed on the highlights. The Controller is also made available to the Board of Trustees for any follow up questions either before, or after the filing date.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 12C	A COPY OF THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY IS GIVEN TO ALL EMPLOYEES. MANAGEMENT MONITORS ITS COMPLIANCE TO THE COMPETITIVE BIDS FOR CONTRACTS FOR SERVICES. If someone with influence over expenditures reports a conflict, the Board of Trustees decides if the transaction or business proposition is at arm's length, and in the best interests of the Organization before it is approved.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINES 15A & 15B	The officers and directors are employees of either the UAW or GM not the CHR, and as such their compensation is determined by their respective organizations.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION C, LINE 19	THE ORGANIZATION MAKES ITS GOVERNING DOCUMENTS, CONFLICTS OF INTEREST POLICY AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC UPON REQUEST. FORM 990, PART VII, SECTION A PATTI BIEBER, JANICE ADAMS, AND CAROL PARR ARE PAID FOR SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE ORGANIZATION BY UNRELATED ENTITIES. THE COMPENSATION BEING REPORTED IS THE REIMBURSEMENT THAT THE ORGANIZATION MAKES TO THEIR EMPLOYERS.
