We would like to request an abatement of the estimated late filing penalty of 4,640. This year our organization was included in a consolidated audit. This process took additional time beyond the extended due date. Payment of this penalty would have a huge negative impact on the ability of our organization to continue running the program. There was no attempt on our part to withhold information from the IRS or prejudice the Federal Government. We respectfully request abatement of any late filing penalties and interest.
