Explanation:

Return is being filed late due to the Foundation Managers making an effort to reduce costs by moving away from third party management. The third party management company was charging excessive fees and providing poor management. The Foundation managers thought they could prepare the returns on their own but found it to be too difficult and had a very difficult time obtaining info from the old third party management company. The foundation managers have retained a CPA firm to bring the filings up to date and have filed the 2018 return timely and will file all future returns timely. We respectfully request a waiver of the late filing penalty for reasonable cause.
