    1 Community Health & Education: The Alka and Ajay Gupta Foundation collaborated with local nonprofits and government agencies to support the following health and education initiatives in 2018:Back to school events were held in the summer of 2018, including a collaboration with the Houston Police Department for an event on August 18h. 2,000 backpacks were distributed along with school supplies, books, clothing, and water bottles to children in the community.The Foundation organized and held 8 local health events during the summer in addition to collaboration with Texas Children's Hospital Mobile Clinic to help provide children in need with free vaccinations in June, July, August, November, and December.In November the foundation helped support the "Mega Community Health Fair" and organized immigration assistance and educational programs for hundreds of community families.Food was purchased by the Foundation and distributed to families in need during the holidays in November and December. 26,738
