Produced several capacity building trainings around the State including: Case Management, Entrepreneur Training, and an overview of the new Federal Legislation. Form 990, Part VI, Line 6: Explanation of Classes of Members or Shareholder	There are three different types of members1.The Executive Director of each Local Workforce Investment Board 2.Any individual interested in keeping apprised of the latest developments in federal, state, and local workforce development programs, issues, legislation and policy. 3.An organizational membership is for one organization at one specific physical location including a one-stop career center. The membership would be inclusive of all employees at the site.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 11b: Form 990 Review Process	Policy implemented whereby the executive committee reviews and approves the Form 990 prior to submission to the board of directors.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 12c: Explanation of Monitoring and Enforcement of Conflicts	Members submit an annual conflict of interest report stating any personal financial interest or financial interests of business entities in which they are directors, officers, partners, trustees, or employees, or in which they hold any positions of management, or might be a benefit to family members. Members recuse themselves from any voting on such matters.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 15a: Compensation Review & Approval Process - CEO, Top Management	The administration committee, a subset of the Executive Committee, determines the Executive Director's salary. This recommendation is then forwarded to the Executive Committee for final approval.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 19: Other Organization Documents Publicly Available	Requests for Governing Documents, Policies and Financial Statements must be in writing and a remittance address attached.
Line 5 and Part V, Line 2a	The organization uses a paymaster, the California State Association of Counties (CSAC); accordingly, CWA pays CSAC for the cost of the related salaries, payroll taxes, and benefits plus an admin fee. These employees are included in CSAC's 941 and CSAC issues their W2s.
