Part X : FIN48 Footnote	The Housing Authority is exempt from income taxes on income substantially related to the organization's exempt purpose under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. Any organization receiving such a status is automatically exempt from Colorado income taxes.The Housing Authority adopted the provisions for FASB ASC 740-10 regarding income tax guidance. The federal income tax returns prior to fiscal year 2014 are closed. The Housing Authority is exempt from income taxes on income substantially related to the organization's exempt purpose under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. Any organization receiving such a status is automatically exempt from Colorado income taxes.The Housing Authority adopted the provisions for FASB ASC 740-10 regarding income tax guidance. The federal income tax returns prior to fiscal year 2014 are closed.
