EACH TEAM ATTENDS FROM 5-15 COMPETITIONS ANNUALLY. IN ADDITION TO THE ATHELETS, TEH ORGANIZATION MUST PAY FOR THE TRAVEL OF THE COACHES THAT ATTEND AND WORK WITH THE CHILDREN. GYMNASTICS IN THE UNITED STATES IS NOT FUNDED BY THE GOVERNMENT AS IT IS IN MANY OTHER COUNTRIES.
