Part X : FIN48 Footnote	The Improvement Fund is exempt from federal income taxes pursuant to code section 501(c)(5) of the Internal Revenue Code and is classified as other than a private foundation. Accordingly, no provision has been made for income taxes. The Organization has adopted Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 740-10, relating to accounting for uncertain tax positions. ASC 740-10 prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement process for accounting for uncertain tax positions and also provides guidance on various related matters such as derecognition, interest, penalties, and disclosures required. The Improvement Fund does not have any uncertain tax positions. The Improvement Fund files Form 990, Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax.
