	In a world characterised by increasing population density, human mobility, and ecological change, emerging infectious diseases pose a real and growing threat to global health security. Epidemic diseases affect us all. They do not respect borders. Vaccines are one of our most powerful tools in the fight to outsmart epidemics. CEPI US's mission is to stimulate and accelerate the development of vaccines against emerging infectious diseases and enable access to these vaccines for people during outbreaks. We are an innovative global partnership between public, private, philanthropic, and civil society organisations working to accelerate the development of vaccines against emerging infectious diseases and enable equitable access to these vaccines for affected populations during outbreaks. Close collaboration with global partners will be crucial to the success of our work to develop vaccines against emerging infectious diseases. Therefore, we will support coordinating activities to improve our collective response to epidemics, strengthening capacity in countries at risk, and advancing the regulatory science that governs product development.

Organization's Primary Exempt Purpose:	COALITION FOR EPIDEMIC PREPAREDNESS INNOVATIONS US ("CEPI US") WAS ORGANIZED for several purposes: (1) to educate the American public about the importance of developing vaccines to combat future global epidemics and CEPI's goals of coordinating the development of such vaccines; (2) to coordinate the efforts of CEPI's partners that are located in the US, including private foundations, industry, trade associations, academic and research institutions, and other not-for-profits; and, (iii) to advocate for support, including potential funding for CEPI US by the U.S. government.
Form 990 Part VI Line 11:	Management works with an outside accounting firm to prepare the Form 990. Once prepared, the Board of Directors meets to review and approve the entire Form 990 prior to filing with the Internal Revenue Service.
Form 990 Part VI Line 12:	CEPI US follows conflict of interest policies and procedures of CEPI Norway.
