Form 990, Part VI, Line 3: Description of Delegated Duties to Management Company	CIPA maintains the consulting firm Combest, Sell and Associates, LLC on retainer to facilitate meetings, maintain industry relations, circulate publications to the membership, and other functions, including lobbying. Fees paid for the year ended June 30, 2018 amounted to $348,015.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 6: Explanation of Classes of Members or Shareholder	Crop Insurance Professionals Association has five classes of members, including full, associate, allied, honorary, and supporting membership.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 7a: How Members or Shareholders Elect Governing Body	The members shall meet at least two times per year, with the Annual Meeting of members to be held in May of each year. The members who are eligible to vote elect the board of directors. After the initial board of directors, the term of each member of the board of directors shall be three years. Any member of the board of directors shall be eligible for re-election. The number of members of the board of directors is detemined by resolution of the voting members, provided the number shall not be less than three. The board of directors shall meet at least two times per year. From this board, at least four members are selected to hold titles as officers. The membership votes on all required decisions at their Annual Meeting.
