    1 The Worthington Scholarship Foundation's (WSF) Mission is to provide scholarships and support services for Coastal Maine students attending Maine colleges. This work is administered by an Executive Director, Program Director, and College Mentor/Communication Director. Programs the Foundation pursues involve the following: High schools in Knox, Lincoln and Waldo Counties, Maine WSF staff work in partnership with outside consultants to provide resources and teacher training to develop financial literacy programming in participating high schools. Completion of several modules of financial literacy training provides students entering college with a sound financial plan and adequate budgeting skills, and is a necessary step toward being awarded a Worthington Scholarship. Staff meet periodically with high school staff and parents to discuss college admissions, financial resources, and the Worthington Scholarships.
