	1.The organization provides a legal defense plan that offers members legal representation for non-criminal situations that are related to their employment as Federal Agents. This representation is free of charge to all eligible members. 2. The organization publishes a professional journal six times a year that serves to keep the membership apprised of proposed changes in government regulations and federal laws that will impact them as federal agents. It also promotes a sense of camaraderie by reporting the happenings of each of the local chapters. 3. The organization works for legislation to benefit the Federal Law Enforcement Community. Additional, it serves as a watchdog, informing members of any proposed legislation or changes to existing legislation that adversely affects Federal Law Enforcement. The organization consists of over 22,000 members. Every 18 months, the organization holds a National Conference where the organizations three program service accomplishments above are discussed and voted on by member representatives.
