What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? WOMEN FOR WINE SENSE BELIEVES THAT WINE ENHANCES AND ENRICHES EVERYDAY LIFE. WE PROVIDE WOMEN AND MEN WITH UNBIASED INFORMATION ABOUT THE CULTURAL HERITAGE AND SOCIAL AND HEALTH EFFECTS OF MODERATE WINE CONSUMPTION AS PART OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. THE ORGANIZATION IS COMMITTED TO OFFERING OUTSTANDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND MENTORING AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES TO WINE ENTHUSIASTS AND INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS.

28 WOMEN FOR WINE SENSE (WWS) CHAPTERS HOLD VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AT THE LOCAL LEVEL. CHAPTERS MEET TO LEARN ABOUT LOCAL WINES AND WINES FROM OTHER REGIONS, BOTH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL. EVENTS OFTEN HAVE SPEAKERS KNOWN IN THE WINE INDUSTRY TO FURTHER EDUCATE MEMBERS ON THE WINES BEING SAMPLED INCLUDING WINEMAKING TECHNIQUES AND DIFFERENCES IN VARIETALS. 29 WOMEN FOR WINE SENSE ROUNDTABLE IS A GROUP OF WWS PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS WHO MEET BI-MONTHLY OR QUARTERLY TO NETWORK IN SMALL GROUP SETTINGS WITH THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING ADVICE AND SUPPORT TO ONE ANOTHER FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION. EACH ROUNDTABLE IS ORGANIZED AROUND A SPECIFIC WINE-RELATED PROFESSION, SUCH AS WINEMAKERS, WINE MARKETERS, OR OTHER WINE PROFESSIONS. EACH ROUNDTABLE CONSISTS OF 20 TO 30 MEMBERS.
