THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO WORK FOR THE SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEMS OF THE FARM, THE FARM HOME, AND THE RURAL COMMUNITY, BY THE USE OF THE RECOCOGNIZED ADVANTAGES OF ORGANIZED ACTION TO THE END THAT THOSE ENGAGED IN THE VARIOUS BRANCHES OF AGRICULTURE MAY HAVE AND SECURE OPPORTUNITIES FOR HAPPINESS AND PROSPERITY IN THEIR CHOSEN OCUPATIONS; TO FOSTER, PROMOTE, REPRESENT, PROTECT AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC INTERESTS OF THE FARMERS OF MARION COUNTY.

29 MARION COUNTY FARM BUREAU (MCFB) PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO IT'S LOCAL MEMBERS SUCH AS THE MARY PETZEL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - IS MADE AVAILABLE TO ANY IMMEDIATE MEMBER OF A MCFB FAMILY PREPARING TO ENTER A JUNIOR COLLEGE, OR A FOUR-YEAR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY IN THE STATE OF OREGON IN AN AGRICULTURAL RELATED MAJOR; AND, OTHER AG OR NON-AG RELATED STUDY SCHOLARSHIPS.
