What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas (IBRBS) is the worlds largest organization of professional Santas and Mrs. Clauses. As per its Bylaws, its purpose is:1)To support, mentor, and promote professional development;2)To be an avenue for social networking for Santa and those within the community who appear and perform in the Spirit of Christmas; and 3)To strive to offer Santa services to deserving organizations.IBRBS members agree to abide by these Tenets:1)We uphold the magical spirit and meaning of Christmas.2)We promote the joy of giving.3)We respect the diversity of Christmas traditions throughout the world.4)We uphold the positive image of Christmas performers.5)We are aware of the impact and effect of our appearance at all times.6)We support the principles embodied in the Santa Claus Oath, the Mrs. Claus Pledge, and the Elves' Oath.7)We foster good will and cooperation throughout the entire Christmas Community.8)We encourage members to participate in charitable and

28 During the Tax Year, IBRBS surpassed over 2,000 members internationally, and offered programs and services that facilitate the development of their portrayals of Santa and Mrs. Claus. These programs and services include:-Santas Heart, which records charitable hours and recognizes key events and activities that had a major impact upon the communities in which they live and work. The program honors international and regional recipients. IBRBS is very proud of the tens of thousands of hours (over 70,000 hours) our many members continue to contribute, either pro-bono or at reduced rates, to local, regional, and national charitable organizations.-IBRBS awarded six, $250 scholarships to a Christmas performer school.-IBRBS awarded two $500 higher education scholarships to immediate family members.-IBRBS negotiated and facilitated access to entertainers liability insurance, which has become an industry standard for professional Santas and Mrs. Clauses.-IBRBS negotiated and facilitated access to deeply discounted and subsidized background checks for members and friends of members. -IBRBS hosted the biennial International Santa Celebration (ISC) in April 2018 in Denver, offering two days of workshops and networking opportunities to more than 400 Christmas performers.-IBRBS offers communications for its members, including a members-only Facebook page, quarterly newsletters, website (IBRBSantas.org), and a member portal.-IBRBS grew its affiliated, autonomous Chapters to more than 40 nationally.
