Accordingly, the USCIB's Board of Trustees and management have been continuously considering various long-term strategies to ensure the continued operations of the USCIB. As a result, the management team implemented a number of restructuring initiatives, designed to improve cash flows and to strengthen the statement of financial position. Significant cost reductions were achieved in salary and other targeted operating expenses, resulting in operating surpluses. Management's plan is to continue to use operating surpluses to build cash reserves and address liabilities. These restructuring efforts, along with healthy and growing operating revenues, point to a positive fiscal outlook for the USCIB. |
