    3 IN 2018 THE FOUNDATION STAGED TWO WORKSHOPS AT GERARD'S HOUSE, A CENTER FOR GRIEVING CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES BASED IN SANTA FE, NM. THE PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOPS WAS TO OFFER EACH PARTICIPANT AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A MINIATURE OFRENDA (AN ALTER) FOR A LOST LOVED ONE. THE HANDS-ON ACTIVITY WAS INTENDED TO GIVE PARTICIPANTS A CHANCE TO CONTINUE THEIR GRIEF JOURNEYS, DISCUSS THEIR FEELINGS OF GRIEF, AND HONOR LOST SIBLINGS, PARENTS AND CHILDREN. THE FIRST WORKSHOP WAS HELD IN JULY 2018 AND INVOLVED 10 CHILDREN PARTICIPATING IN A SUMMER CAMP WEEKEND AT GERARD'S HOUSE.
