| Form 990 Part III | Program Services Association programs include an annual meeting/professional education program, programs with other professional women, a Google Groups email list for sharing ideas about professional issues, and web site/social media sites to publicize WWCDA and Chapter programs and activities. As of December 31, 2018, WWCDA has 35 chapters in the United States and worldwide. Chapters host a variety of activities that promote the professional development of women in the white collar defense field. Chapter meetings provide members with educational and other professional opportunities. The Association's annual meeting-- scheduled to coincide with the American Bar Association White Collar Crime Conference -- was held in New Orleans in 2018. Chapter members discussed WWCDA governance and activities. The annual meeting also featured educational programming, networking and other professional opportunities. Also in 2018, WWCDA collaborated with Global Investigations Review on the first Women in Investigation Conference held in London. WWCDA also collaborated with the ABA in the Afternoon Tea at the ABA Southeastern White Collar Conference. WWCDA and Women Entrepreneurs had a reception in New York City. WWCDA also hosted a General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer Reception in Menlo Park, California. WWCDA co-hosted a lunch with the Women in Criminal Defense Committee of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. WWCDA participated in the annual Consortium for Advancing Women Lawyers. WWCDA adopted an Awards Program in 2018 that will recognize members and non-members for contributions to the white collar field while advancing women. The first WWCDA Awards Dinner Gala is scheduled for December 3, 2019. |
