THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS AN IMPORTANT COLLECTION OF ARTWORK, ARRANGES EXHIBITIONS, PUBLISHES EDUCATIONAL BOOKS AND SCHOLARLY WORKS, AND SPONSORS CULTURAL EXCHANGE BETWEEN RUSSIA AND THE UNITED STATES. IT MAKES CONTRIBUTIONS OF ARTWORK TO MUSEUMS AND OTHER CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS AND SELLS ARTWORK IN THE PUBLIC MARKET FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING FUNDS FOR FUTURE ACQUISITIONS.
