Other Part III - Exempt purpose: Pasco County Medical Society, Inc. is a Not-For-Profit corporation created under Chapter 617 of the Florida Statutes by a group of physicians, who, with their associates and employees, desire to devote a portion of their time and efforts toward the goal of fostering the delivery of quality healthcare in Pasco County, Florida. These efforts serve as a means of conducting business and embody a strong sense of involvement in public healthcare and educational forums, as an essential element of their medical practices. These efforts also serve as means of assisting indigent citizens in the community through participation in a free healthcare clinic, developed by many of these same physicians.
Other Part III - Accomplishments: Provided physical exams for school children at no cost. Conducted seminars for Pasco County physicians. Continued medical education cruise, attended by approximately 20 physicians. Conducted a year-end meeting with FMA (Florida Medical Association) representatives.
