What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The primary exempt purpose of the Coloradan Community Foundation is to support education and the arts within the Coloradan community and promote social welfare through the funding of other non-profit, tax-exempt organizations and by funding other projects within charitable, educational, recreational, environmental, and conservation purposes.

28 There were no operations or activities in 2017. The IRS exemption approval under IRC Section 501(c)(4) was not received until September 30, 2019. The Coloradan Community Foundation plans to meet its exempt purpose in the community of the Coloradan by supporting education and the arts within the community, by promoting social welfare through the funding of other non-profit, tax-exempt organizations and by funding other projects within its stated purposes.
