What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Our primary purpose is to insure our members are fully educated on all statutes, rules, case-law and court ruling that govern the practice of Workers Compensation in Colorado and that they are updated on changes as they occur. We accomplish this by providing 20 to 35 hours of Continuing Legal Education each year, as well ass providing access for members to several databases on topics necessary to practice Worker Compensation law at an advance level.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 WCEA conducts several continuing legal education seminars during the year. There are usually at least three CLE seminars in the Denver area. These seminars are available to members who do not physically attend via transmission of seminar materials and audio recording.
