What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? PROVIDE OUR MEMBERS MORAL SUPPORT AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS ARE A FRATERNAL, PATRIOTIC, HISTORICAL AND EDUCATIONALS ORGANIZATION. OUR PURPOSE IS TO PRESERVE AND STRENGTHEN COMRADESHIP AMONGST ITS MEMBERS; TO ASSIST WORTHY COMRADES; TO PERPETUATE THE MEMORY OF THE HISTORY OF OUR DEAD; AND TO ASSIST THEIR WIDOWS AND ORPHANS. TO FOSTER TRUE PATRIOTISM, TO MAINTAIN AND EXTEND THE INSTITUTIONS OF AMERICAN FREEDOM. WE DONATE BIKES TO THE SCHOOL PATRON PROGRAM, SPONSOR YOUTH HOCKEY AND BASEBALL, CASH GIFTS ARE GIVEN TO VETERANS, THEIR WIDOWS AND MILITARY GUARD AND RESERVE UNITS FOR SEND OFFS AND HOMECOMING EVENTS. WE MAKE CASH GIFTS TO VETERANS NURSING HOMES.
