EMPLOYEE SALARY AND PAYROLL TAXES WERE THE MAJOR EXPENSES RELATED TO MAINTAINING THE MUSEUM.IN 2018, A GRANT TOTALING $5,050 WAS RECEIVED IN THIS PROGRAM SERVICE CATEGORY FROM THE CITY OF DE PERE FOR GENERAL UPKEEP AND MAINTENANCE OF THE SOCIETYS BUILDINGS.BY 2010 THE SOCIETY HAD OUTGROWN ITS EXISTING MUSEUM BUILDING AND WAS IN NEED OF ADDITIONAL SPACE FOR WORKROOMS; ARTIFACT DISPLAYS; ARCHIVE WORKSTATIONS; STORAGE OF RECORDS, DOCUMENTS, ETC.; AND PLANS FOR CONSTRUCTING AN ADDITION TO THE MUSEUM BUILDING BEGAN.
