What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The American Alliance for Hardwood Plywood is a group of persons having a common business interest in improving business conditions, including the promotion and protection of free trade rules, for businesses which rely on imported hardwood plywood. This mission includes advocating on Members' behalf and also monitoring free trade rules and regulations on an ongoing basis.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 1. Testify before the U.S. International Trade Commission on behalf of the members of the organization to prevent a 300% tariff on imported hardwood plywood from being imposed. The primary expense associated with this activity is the payment of legal fees for representation and testimony before the U.S. International Trade Commission. Expenses also included commissioning an independent report for submission to the U.S. International Trade Commission as part of the testimony.
