To host activities where owners and others interested in the breed can enjoy the Pembroke Welsh Corgis in events such as herding, obedience, agility, and breed conformation. To help preserve the Pembroke Welsh Corgis as a breed of dog.

Schedule G, Part II, Line 1	Our Specialty dog show is a club event where mainly members showcase their dogs in various activities-- obedience, rally, and conformation. It has not broken even in many years due to the costs of the venue. The Agility Show in October is where members can compete with their dogs in that performance venue. Revenue from it helps to offset losses at the Specialty. The other 2 events are another Agility Show in June that usually breaks even, and an Obedience and Rally Show in February, again for members to perform with their dogs in those venues. It also helps to offset losses on smaller club events held throughout the year. All of these larger events give members the chance to gain points with their dogs toward various titles with the American Kennel Club.
Schedule G, Part II, Line 4	The Specialty show has an event where members can showcase their younger dogs, and those that place 1 thru 4 in each class are awarded a small percentage of the entry fees paid.
Schedule G, Part II, Line 5	Non cash prizes for all 4 events are ribbons for the highest placing dogs, and those that finish 1 thru 4 in each class. The Specialty show also gives out small token awards (ex, a mug) to those finishing 1 thru 4 of each class, and the higher placing dogs receive larger awards (ex, custom painted ceramic teapot, pewter plate).
Schedule G, Part II, Line 6	I could not pull out the food costs for the Specialty show-- they are included in the venue rental, which is a hotel. We offer refreshments each afternoon, and have one evening where a buffet is offered and one night of a banquet. We charge attendees basically our cost for the dinners, and the club pays for the refreshments.
Schedule G, Part II, Line 9	These expenses are things like decorations, application fees and results recording fees to the American Kennel Club, and other miscellaneous costs incurred by members organizing the show.

Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 1	Explanation as to why I was not able to complete the spreadsheet for contributors. I was not aware that detailed information would be required for contributions, therefore I do not have an individual breakdown. I am not a CPA, although that is not an excuse, but now that I am aware, I will begin documenting the detail you require for future returns. Members pay dues to support the activities of the club but only intangible benefits are received. That total amount is 6917 including late fees. Each member pays $42 per year in dues, and a late fee if incurred is $15. There are approximately 160 members of the club. Contributions were also received for our Rescue Program, and those totaled 8175. Member contributions/donations to rescue were 675. This money is used to support our rescue program in vetting the dogs, boarding and fostering the dogs until they can be placed with a new owner. The costs of vetting the dogs can be several thousand dollars, as most of the dogs in the rescue program are older, have often been neglected of veterinary care, and can have serious medical issues that need to be addressed before they can be placed in a new home. The rescue funds are documented separately from the general fund, and all rescue donations are used exclusively for that program. Finally, 1250 was donated to the general fund in memory of a long time club member that passed away early in 2018.
