THIS PROCESS WILL EVALUATE SECURITY, PRIVACY AND ACCURACY OF ELECTRONIC HEALTHCARE TRANSACTIONS, ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH VOLUNTARY ACCREDITATION REVIEWS OF PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS.

	Healthcare transactions industry. There were 83 organizations fully accredited in 12/31/18 for 2 years. Electronic healthcare network accredited electronic healthcare transactions, accomplished through voluntary accreditation reviews of participating organizations. The commission is a voluntary accrediting agency for the electronic data exchange. There were 15 new accreditation reviews and 42 reaccreditation reviews performed in 2018. These reviews are designed to determine that process and procedures exist to provide security and accuracy of electronically transmitted data within the health care data exchange industry.
