	Membership: Louisiana Assisted Living Association (LALA) provides members with continuing education programs that focus specifically on the senior living industry and offers nationally recognized speakers and provides opportunities to increase skill as a professional. Members also have access to decision-makers, business leaders and legislators who shape the industry. Resources are also available regarding training events and leadership development opportunities, technical assistance and clarification of critical issue affecting daily operations in assisted living and long term care community, key updates on relevent issues, events, and activities affecting daily operations and of the industry. LALA representatives met numerous times during the year with representatives of the Louisiana Department of Health & Hospitals (DHH) to discuss issues related to Adult Residential Care Provider regulations and licensing standards

Members or stockholder classes and rights Part VI line 6	Admission of all applicants shall be in accordance with guidlines and standards established by the Board of Directors. The categories of membership in the Association shall be:1. Provider - A person or legal entity that is an owner, operator, manager or developer of an assisted living residence, senior housing facility or similar type of facility.2. Industry Partner - A person or legal entity that provides goods or services to the senior housing industry but does not own, operate or manage an assisted living or senior living facility.3. Supporting Partner - Any person or legal entity that is not associated with any company that develops, owns, operates or manages long-term care or senior living facilities.
Member election for additional members Part VI line 7a	The Members shall conduct the annual election of Directors via secure web-based voting. The Board of Directors shall adopt voting policies and procedures to ensure proper voter authentication, tamper-free balloting and accurate tabulation and reporting of election results.
