APPROXIMATELY 40 PART-TIME SQUAD MEMBERS PROVIDE OVER 35,000 HOURS OF CALL TIME EACH YEAR TO COVER SERVICES 24/7/365 AND PROVIDE BOTH ADVANCED AND BASIC CARE. MERCER COUNTY AMBULANCE ALSO HAS FIRST RESPONDERS ON CALL IN FOUR COMMUNITIES. THESE FIRST RESPONDERS PROVIDE BASIC LIFE-SAVING CARE WHILE THE AMBULANCE IS EN ROUTE. MCA ALSO PROVIDES STANDBY SERVICES TO SPORTING AND COMMUNITY EVENTS SUCH AS RODEOS, COMPANY PICNICS, AND FOOTBALL GAMES. THESE STANDBY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE FOR HIGH SCHOOL EVENTS.
