| Seperation of division in 2017 | Effective September 30, 2017, the Boulder Convention and Visitors Bureau (the Bureau), also known as the CVB division, separated from the Organization. Under the terms of the separation agreement, the Bureau is operating as a separate legal entity and has organized as a separate nonprofit corporation under Colorado law. Further, it applied for separate tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service and is no longer reported under The Boulder Chamber of Commerce. |
| Subsequent Event | The Organization has began the process of tranferring their SBDC division into its own nonprofit enity called the Boulder SBDC Foundation, a Colorado nonprofit corporation. All assets, liabilities, contracts, and books of record were tranferred to Boulder SBDC Foundation as of June 30, 2019 |
