VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED SUPPORT TO OVER 350 VETERANS, PROCESSED OVER 15 TONS OF MATERIALS AT LOCAL THRIFT STORES, PROVIDED AGING IN PLACE SERVICES TO OVER 20 HOMEBOUND INDIVIDUALS AND ASSISTED OVER 1,000 INDIVIDUALS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE (VITA) PROGRAM, RESULTING IN OVER $1.4 MILLION IN REFUNDS TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES. |
