| Form 990, Part VIII, Line Line 7 | The Meadows Country Club, Inc.s land and buildings were sold to The Meadows Community Association, Incorporated MCA, the not-for-profit property homeowners / master association, for 6,000,000 during 2018, and the land and buildings were then leased back to the Club to operate for an initial 3 year period for 10 per year. The Club members and MCA property owners approved the sale during 2017. An impairment loss on the land and buildings was recognized as of December 31, 2017, consistent with generally accepted accounting principles, and the carrying value of the land and buildings was accordingly adjusted to a net book vale of 6,000,000. Upon the sale in 2018, there was no gain or loss as the loss was recognized as of December 31, 2017. A loss of 182,486 was recognized during the year ended December 31, 2018, for disposal of furniture, fixtures, and equipment retained by the Club that was abandoned and discarded. |
