Briefly describe the organization’s mission: To donate to organizations that support mining, metallurgical and general geosciences education such as the Minerals Education Coalition, mining museums, and local and national public education outreach projects. Other purposes include support of research work connected with mining and metallurgy, establishment of scholarships, conducting educational symposia, and for making awards of honor or merit. The main purpose of the activities is to further understanding of the mining industry to the general public.
