Toward that end, this association serves as the professional association for women of the sea servies, past, present and future. It is the aim of this association to promote recognition of the continuing contributions of the sea services to the diversity of the maritime force, and work in concert to support a gender-neutral officer and enlisted corps that strives to achieve equal opportunity, and fair and equitable treatment for all members of the sea services.
