LAP IS AN EVIDENCE-BASED PROGRAM THAT HAS REDUCED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE FATALITIES BY 25%. THE TRAINING IS SUPPORTED BY DVCCC AND DATA COLLECTION IS FUNDED THROUGH PCADV. CURRENTLY, 38 OF 42 CHESTER COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENTS ARE TRAINED AND HAVE IMPLEMENTED THE LAP PROGRAM. DVCCC IS CERTIFIED WITH THE PENNSYLVANIA ASSOCIATION OF NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION (PANO) SEAL OF EXCELLENCE FOR ITS SUCCESSFUL COMPLIANCE WITH THE STANDARDS FOR EXCELLENCE PROGRAM.
